Older Corgi Eats President's Choice Nutrition One
I have a 13 year old, 40 lb, Corgi Mix named Maverick. I currently feed him President's Choice Nutrition One. I do not know what he was fed as a puppy as I adopted him from the SPCA when he was 5.
I had been using other "cheaper" dog foods, like Ol' Roy and Special Dinner and I found that he wasn't getting full, and he was doing his "business" frequently. I decided to try something a little healthier. He had been on it for a couple of months, and the vet said he was healthy, good coat, strong teeth, and to keep doing what I was doing.
I purchase his food at the Real Atlantic Superstore, a division of Loblaw's. It is a store brand food, so I can't purchase it at other places. Just a note, he LOVES this food, and I've noticed his energy increase, his coat is shiny, he doesn't do his "business" as often and it does not smell as much.
If you have a healthy dog that doesn't need anything special from the vet for food, give this a try. It seems to have alot of the qualities of more expensive dog foods, but at a cheaper price (about $30.00 for a 16kg bag).
