Iams For This Standard Schnauzer

My dog, Crockett, is a Standard Schnauzer. He is 9 yrs old and will be 10 in May of this year. He is currently using the senior formula for Iams food. When he was a puppy, we used the Iams puppy food. We have always bought Iams for him, with a few exceptions. I have occasionally mixed in food of other brands, from samples or that I have gotten free with coupons with his Iams. Also when he is boarded he usually gets the Eukanuba food that they provide, since it is the same as Iams.

He has always been fed dry food, with the occasional wet food mixed in for a treat. I believe the food was recommended by the breeder and the vet.

We purchase a majority of food for Crockett from Walmart, because they usually are the cheapest. Occasionally a local pet supply store or the grocery store had deals or store coupons that I bought it from them instead. I am always on look out for deals on his dog food and I will buy from whoever is cheaper.
